Corporate History

April 1949 The capacitor division of Anritsu Corporation spun off to establish Annaka Corporation.
October 1962 Annaka Denki Co., Ltd. merged with Annaka Seiki Co., Ltd. The corporate name was changed to Annaka Denki Seiki Co., Ltd.
March 1963 Annaka Denki Seiki Corporation was listed at the Tokyo Stock Exchange, Second Section.
January 1965 Hitachi capacitors Co., Ltd. was established.
April 1965 Hitachi capacitors Co., Ltd. took over the operations of Kanagawa Works of Hitachi Chemical Co., Ltd.
October 1965 Hitachi capacitors Co., Ltd. merged with Annaka Denki Seiki Co., Ltd. as a surviving company. The corporate name was changed to Hitachi capacitors
August 1979 Took over the operations of Ninomiya Kogyo Co., Ltd.
July 1984 The head office was moved to Nishi-Gotanda, Shinagawa-Ku, Tokyo.
August 1989 Took over the operations of Miharu Manufacturing Co., Ltd.
October 1990 Merged with Meiko Meguro Kogyo Co., Ltd. and Sanki Kogyo Co., Ltd. The corporate name was changed to Hitachi AIC Inc.
September 2000 Listed shares on the First Section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange
July 2001 Shares delisted from the Stock Exchange
August 2001 Through the exchange of shares, Hitachi AIC Inc. became a wholly owned subsidiary of Hitachi Chemical Co., Ltd.
June 2003 Changed the corporate structure to the "Company with a Committee System"
September 2006 Changing to a corporation where the auditor is stationed.
April 2008 Merged with Hitachi Chemical Electronics Company, Ltd., and the head office was moved to Moka-shi,Tochigi.
October 2009 Aluminum Electrolystic Capacitors business and Metalized Film products and other business had been transferred to Shinmachi Condensor Company, Ltd..
All businesses of Shinmachi Condensors Company, Ltd. had been transferred to Shinkobe Electric Machinery Co., Ltd..
April 2010 The head office was moved to Chuo-ku,Tokyo.
April 2012 The head office was moved to Moka-shi,Tochigi.
Responsibility for handling the sale of the company's products was transferred to Shin-Kobe Electric Machinery Co.,Ltd.
April 2013 Responsibility for handling the sale of the company's products was transferred to Hitachi Chemical Company, Ltd.
January 2016 Hitachi AIC Inc. became a wholly owned subsidiary of Hitachi Chemical Co., Ltd.
